Some updates are happening around the network that are worth mentioning. And well..  first of all have to mention, the Rinku Network is still alive and will continue.

With that off the way already, let’s start with the other stuff worth mentioning. Makendou Central is getting ready to launch soon. There’s a bit more teasers at the main site and a Facebook page has been launched already as well.

We’re still preparing content for N Masters, specifically Zelda related, and fixing some other things. I’m also looking around some old stuff that I had from the site and actually discovering some things of the origins or NM which I didn’t remember anymore.

Also, as usual iNintendo is still active, although not much content has appeared recently, they still have their updates with new interesting articles frequently.

And last but not least, Link’s Hideaway continues updating with lots of Zelda news, specially since we’re getting closer to the release of Skyward Sword.

Other things worth mentioning are the fact that I have no idea what has happened with the online iNintendo game, Zeypher should know more of that, and that there’s the plan of making atleast an easier way to access the wifi codes of all the people from the network’s sites. If possible, even a central database.

Umm… yeah, as you may have noticed, all the comments that were in the blog are completely gone now. I want to apologize for that. Yeah, that was my fault. Sorry. I don’t know how it happened, but.. yeah, I deleted all of them by mistake.

Well.. atleast now all the comments will be done in the  proper way with the new system, right? XD

Time for something different. Welcome to the first post of “Spam Bot Fun!”. I’m guessing maybe I’ll do one of this like.. weekly, I guess.

The point of this posts will be sharing some of the silly comments the spam bots leave in the blog that were blocked by the filter for the fact that they are just plain silly and funny. Opposite to how spam bots in forums or e-mails work, the spam that the blog receives can be quite funny and mostly safe for work. Yeah, some spam is actually just trash like the usual one, but most of it is the silly one. With these posts we’ll all be able to laugh at the silly comments they make.

So let’s start with the first “Spam Bot Fun!”.

In “Translation feature now available”:

Wow whered you go to college Harvard, lol, newayz your a great writer, any tips?

Yeah.. because the small post commenting about the translation feature is a great news article. XD

Next one is for you, Zeypher.

I definitely wanted to compose a simple comment in order to thank you for these unique guides you are writing on this website. My rather long internet lookup has at the end been rewarded with reputable information to share with my company. I would point out that many of us readers actually are unequivocally fortunate to live in a decent site with many awesome people with good plans. I feel very much fortunate to have discovered your web pages and look forward to really more amazing minutes reading here. Thank you once more for a lot of things.

Wow.. a really deep message. XD

And finally, one more in “Translation feature now available”

thanks, very well written post, found it through a random google search and i shared it on my facebook

Wow. So apparently two bots agree that it was a well written post. XD

And that’s it for today. Let’s see what kind of spam appears during the next days. :P

Yup. I’ve added a translation function to the Rinku Network blog. Just a simple update but important in it’s way.

Now you can read the blog in any language that you would like. Visiting from Japan? You can change to Japanese. Visiting from Germany? You can change to German. After all, the Internet is supposed to be a place for the whole world, not just for English speaking countries.

The mystery is over. No more riddle posts in the blog. Today I unveil my new site which will be part of the Rinku Network as well. Let’s give a welcome to….

Yep!! Makendou Central!!

Makendou Central will be a site dedicated to the really obscure video game franchise known as Makeruna! Makendou. The franchise only got three games released and the original that was on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System was also the only one to get released outside of Japan as “Kendo Rage” (With several edits, btw).

I want to give a lot of thanks to SmashBrosSheik who is helping me a lot in the creation of this new site. Thank you so much, my Shiiku! ^_^ For example, that awesome logo for the site is made completely by her. Truly an epic and awesome logo for the site. ^_^

The site is still a bit under construction, but should open completely during this month or early next one. And no, guys, I haven’t forgotten about N Masters at all, so don’t worry. That will still be updated as soon as I can. With me now being back at Uni, though, that has been a bit harder. But no, haven’t forgotten about it, don’t worry.

So Rinku Network is back, but.. it doesn’t have that much of an identity yet. It’s just a name, just letters and a site and that’s it.

But this is how we solve it. Today I’m announcing the..
Network Identity Contest!

How does this work? Easy! Simply comment in this post a suggestion or ideas of what should be what identifies the Rinku Network. As a rule, though, it has to be something Nintendo related. The Rinku Network is all about Nintendo sites in one way or another, so remember, it has to be Nintendo related in some way and that it also shows that it is a Network. Like… for example how Nnja some thing ago created a simple icon of network cable for testing on one of the projects that I will talk about later.

Anyway, that’s pretty much it for rules. If everything goes out fine, we’ll have results and an identity before the end of the year. Just post your submissions in the comment section of this post. Everyone that is member from any Rinku Network website can participate (including people from Link’s Hideaway, since they are in the process of joining). After that, a selected group of people from iNintendo will evaluate and choose the three best suggestions. Then, a selected group of people from N Masters (not including me) will decide the actual winner from those three.

Let the contest begin!

UPDATE: *sigh*… and the first contest is a complete failure. Really.. no ideas at all? Whatever.. we’ll go on like this, I guess.
